Student Teaching Final Internship 4th Grade, January 2026 to May 2026

  • Collaborated with my CT as I designed instruction that was aligned to state-adopted standards which required students to demonstrate various skills and competencies, selected appropriate formative assessments to monitor student learning, and sequenced lessons to ensure that students have required prior knowledge.

  • Conveyed clear, concise, and high classroom expectations to my students to ensure that they would practice self-control, stay on task, be an active listener, and show respect towards their peers and the teacher.

  • Delivered engaging and challenging lessons while targeting misconceptions, identifying gaps in subject matter knowledge, and differentiating instruction to support learning in all students.

Mathematics Field Placement 2nd Grade, January 2025 to February 2025

  • Gathered information from five math data points on a group of students from my class, analyzed the data to identify trends and student needs, and drafted a formal letter to the home of one of my students to communicate with the caretakers about their current performance in Math.

  • Planned and delivered an engaging math lesson aligned within 2nd-grade Math standards while promoting understanding and critical thinking skills during the lesson.

​

  • Practiced using a variety of techniques, methods, and strategies to influence student learning of mathematics.

ESOL Placement 2nd Grade, January 2025 to February 2025

  • Utilized various instructional strategies that were focused on reading and writing and effective in supporting the growth of ESOL students in the classroom.

  • Supported the teacher in creating a classroom environment that was culturally inclusive for all students.

​

  • Created a differentiated lesson plan that included multimodal instruction, assessments that were designed for ELLs at varying proficiency levels, and alignment to grade-level standards.

ESS- Substitute Teacher for Manatee County

  • Worked in classrooms where the teacher was absent to ensure educational continuity by following the instruction of the regular teacher.

  • Managed the classroom by keeping the students' behavior in check with the normal classroom rules and expectations that the teacher sets.

  • Read and follow the teacher's lesson plan in order to understand what the students should be doing.
